CHECKLIST

BEFORE BOARDING PLANE CHECKLIST

- Check that the runway is long enough for our type of aircraft.

- Check for obstacles or objects in physical mode on the runway.

- If we are going to carry passengers, check that they have limited their "weight" in scripts to avoid accidents when crossing sims that are very slow or full of objects. A script detection arc can be used for this purpose.

- Plan the route to be made, checking the regions to be crossed, it is important to verify that they are not being restarted. When complete your FPL, send it to ATS dependences for approbation

- Send to ATS FLIGHT PLAN form via Second Life Grid ATC (Zello)

WEATHER:

https://secondlife-status.statuspage.io

MAP RADAR & NOTAMS:

https://shergoodaviation.com/radar.php

ATIS DEPARTURE: copy the information letter (alpha, bravo, etc)

- Make the walk-around the plane for see possible problems: check the Pitot tubes, gears, wings, motors or propellers, fuel quantity (when the aircraft model supporting activates/deactivates the amount of fuel consumed), etc.

- NOTE: the Phenom 100 has a limit of 100 gallons for full tanks and a one hour of flight. Consume 1.666666666666667 gallons per minute. To get the amount of fuel consumed we only multiply 1.666666666666667 by the time elapsed since the engines were turned on (the time starts to count from when the start button of the first engine is activated). To get the amount of fuel we have left, we only subtract the amount obtained from 100. The reserve fuel is 10% of the total, i.e. 10 gallons. The distance you can travel will depend on the speed at any given time (at 38 knots travels 0.63337 nautical miles/minute, at 27 knots 0.45 nautical miles/minute and 20 knots 0.3333 nautical miles/minute). In my case note that there is a delay per region of four seconds when performing the calculation of T=E/V, but it may be due to my distance from the SL servers (ping).

START UP CHECKLIST

NOTE: IN REAL LIFE THE AIRCRAFT DO NOT HAVE A PUSHBACK SYSTEM, SO A TUG VEHICLE IS USED THAT PLACES THE AIRCRAFT IN THE RIGHT AREA TO START ROLLING. IN THE CASE OF SECOND LIFE, THE PUSHBACK IS USUALLY USED DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRCRAFT (UNLESS YOU HAVE AMPLE RUNWAY SPACE TO DO SO AND USE THE TUG). IN SUCH A CASE, THE ENGINES ARE STARTED FIRST AND THEN THE PUSHBACK IS DONE.
